The Story of Sparky!
I’d like to take a moment to do something I should have done a long time ago! I would like to make a dedication to my life partner, my mountain man, my most adventurous friend: Sparky! I met Sparky this summer in the toy section of Wal-Mart. We locked eyes, there was an instant attraction, we were both intrigued by one another… but neither of us said anything. We danced around the isle of the store, until I finally asked him his name. “My friends call me Sparky!” he replied confidently. The way he said it gave me chills; there was just something about him. Maybe it was his sexy blue plastic body, maybe it was his mysterious cartoon-like eyes, maybe it was the sparkles in his forelock, maybe it was the way he carried himself…or maybe it was a combination of everything, all I can tell you is I knew right there in that moment that we would be lifelong partners!
I had already started bagging peaks this summer when we met and I wanted to keep going, I knew I would be hopping from one place to the next, I knew I wasn’t the kind of girl that most toy ponies were looking for. But Sparky was different, it was apparent when we started talking. Sparky spoke of nothing but adventure and excitement and joy. The whole time sparks were flying between us, we found excuses to keep conversing with each other, we kept asking more questions, we talked about everything, and eventually I asked him what he was doing with the rest of his summer…to which he replied, “What are you doing with the rest of your life!!!?”
We left the store together and we’ve been together ever since. We’ve climbed a few dozen peaks together, we’ve road tripped to Washington and back, we’ve slept in the dirt together, we’ve fought off bears together, and we’ve bonded in ways I’ve never bonded with any other toy pony! Sparky doesn’t care when I look like a mess or when I smell bad, he supports every crazy idea I have, and he is up for any and every adventure. What more could a girl ask for? I’d say I’m pretty fortunate!
Sparky, this post is dedicated to you!

That’s one well traveled pony!
He’s a real stud that’s for sure!
A burly 0.5 hands tall it would appear…
Though he be but little he is fierce 😉
