On the trail, I sometimes introduce myself as "VoldeMeg, formerly known as Voldemort... formerly known as Megan". I grew up in rural Maine and spent a lot of time outdoors, but only recently took up hiking. After graduating from Dalhousie University in the spring of 2014 with a double major in Neuroscience and Social Anthropology, I was a little burnt out and looking for an adventure. So, I decided to hop on a plane to Georgia and walk home. Not many twenty-somethings are lucky enough to be able to say they've found something they are truly passionate about. I am one of the lucky ones. When I'm not plotting my next adventure or trying to put my degree to work, I will be here offering my opinion and sharing my knowledge to those who are willing to read and ask questions.
