Appalachian Trail Photo Exhibit Comes to D.C.

A photo exhibit titled United By the Appalachian Trail, curated by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, is coming to the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington D.C.

17 photographs from various artists will be on display in the building’s Rotunda from September 17th through the 21st. The event is sponsored by North Carolina Senator Richard Burr. While the exhibit is meant to present the beauty of the Appalachian Trail, there will be images that display some of the realities familiar to those that hike the trail’s entirety: there is at least one picture of thru-hiker feet.

This is a limited run not to be missed by those lucky enough to be in the area. Go get your AT art on.

Unfortunately, we don’t have access to them and we don’t have the rights to them in the first place. If you’re bummed you can’t make the trek, my California living self is too.
