2 Weeks Out: Chaunce’s Appalachian Trail Updates

With only two weeks left until I head to Atlanta to start the AT, I wanted to do a video update for where I’m at with pre-trail preparations. I’m still waiting for my Tyvec ground cloth to be delivered, and I’m debating whether or not to replace my heavily-used, slight worn down Therm-a-Rest Z Lite Sleeping Pad before heading out East. Other than those two items, my gear is good to go.

I’m sending a box of gear and clothing home to mother so we that we can swap if I need to while on the trail. I’ve got things like shorts, a back-up water filter, lighter base layers, and backup rain pants (please refer to my cold weather gear video to see why these are so important!).
