48 Hours and Counting

Today was the last day at my job, and a bittersweet goodbye it was. I hope to go back, but in the meantime I got bigger things to occupy my time.. like Katahdin. I leave for Georgia in 2 days, and its going to be a busy two days.. Tomorrow I have to sit with my dad and pack my maildrops and reexplain how they work. my plan is for 1 maildrop a week, and the rest I will buy on the way.

Easter dinner yesterday was a great way to say goodbye to my family. The bombardment of questions and confirmations that I’m crazy had made me confirm why I am doing this.. simply, There is way more to life than work and taxes. I want to live my life, conquer my personal goals, and challenge myself in new ways. I plan on completing my bucketlist one day, although it keeps growing the more I learn about our wonderful planet. If I dont succeed,  there is always next year. Slow and steady always wins the race, no need to rush great things..
