I’ll Embrace Every Moment on My SOBO Thru-Hike
Scrunch-face in the morning.
All smiles and sunshine in the afternoon.
Night owl by night, which also happens to be my spirit animal.
I’m a registered nurse working in the operating room in Boise, Idaho.
I’m 39, in my prime, and I can’t think of a better over-the-hill birthday than to literally be trekking over a hill.
So on June 27, 2018, I will fly out to Maine to begin my SOBO thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
I’ll have my boyfriend, Marcus, by my side, and we’ll either love or hate each other by the end.
There’s sure to be blood, sweat, tears, fears, and antics.
But my goal is to embrace every moment…. even the stench.
