I’ll Embrace Every Moment on My SOBO Thru-Hike
Rochelle here!
Scrunch-face in the morning.
Smiley in the afternoon.
Night owl by night….which also happens to be my spirit animal.
Lover of hiking, running, sunshine, tutus, sriracha, coffee, and accents.
Right-o!
I live in Boise, Idaho, and work as a nurse in the operating room.
I’m 39, in my prime, and I can’t think of a better over-the-hill birthday than to literally be trekking over a hill!
So I will fly out to Maine to begin my SOBO thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail on June 29, 2018.
I’ll have my boyfriend, Marcus, by my side, and we’ll either love or hate each other by the end.
There’s sure to be blood, sweat, tears, and antics, because one thing’s for sure, Rochelle and Marcus know how to make a RoCus…..get it?!
But in the end, my goal is to embrace every moment…. yes, even the stench.

How much did it’s cost u for the hole trip
I won’t start hiking until June
Why did you pick the sobo most start in GA and why start in June when most start from Feb to maybe May
Due to life scheduling, my bf and I can’t leave until the end of June, therefore SOBO was our only choice for that timeframe. But, I’ve always been drawn to the path less traveled, so I may have chosen this way regardless.
