Favorite Food Combos (To be updated)

This literally is a post just to talk about the single best food combinations I’ve had to date on the trail. I will update it more as I find more “recipes” but for now, I’ll start with a breakfast fave:

Vanilla Breakfast Oatmeal

  1. Packet of Brown Sugar & Cinnamon oatmeal
  2. Packet of Carnation Vanilla Breakfast Essentials
  3. Optional: Dehydrated fruit
  4. Optional: Almond butter

Cook the oatmeal as you normally would then add in the breakfast powder. This is how we had it originally had it and it was filling and delicious. Next time, I added dehydrated apples and a spoonful of almond butter and it was one of my favorite meals on the trail that kept me happy for a long while. Not to mention how quick and easy this meal is to make and to eat! Give it a try because it is loaded with great stuff for ya!
