BIG Balds & BIG Butts, which one do you resemble?

First, let’s provide a hiker update:

We’re currently at mile marker 137.1 and sheltered at NOC (Nantahala Outdoor Center) in N.C.

Today’s hike was 15.8 miles in a combination of sleet, snow & rain.

Tomorrow’s hike is 16.5.

We resupply on Saturday and have a short 11 mile hike into Franklin and another hostel stay.

Today we hit another mileage milestone…over 660 miles, over 30% completion of A.T.  We expect to have our SOBO part of our trip done on Sunday, May 15th.

NOW FOR THE FUN STUFF;)

This was a while back,  but they had Big Bald & Little BaldI resemble Big Bald……brother Mountain Goat…..maybe Little Bald?

Believe it or not, even Greyhound is involved in this conversation!

She actually has her very OWN Bald!!! What she does NOT qualify for is our next AT descriptor…..

At this point, we’re evidently looking for folks who might fit THIS description….

Is this what Big Butt Mountain was named after??

We THINK the mountain may have been named because of this interesting looking rock formation.  Could be a REALLY BIG BOOTY!

The 3 of us hikers qualified for our own balds…. But NONE of us qualify as Big Butts……HOW ABOUT YOU?  DO YOU QUALIFY;)?

Today’s hike is History.  Tomorrow’s hike’s a Mystery.  Right now is a Gift and why it’s called the Present!
