Blossom’s First Week on the AT

This week, The Trek Vlogger Blossom hits the Appalachian Trail with excitement and anticipation. Unlike traditional AT thru-hikes, Blossom started just shy of the 400 mile mark and will complete the previous section after summiting Katahdin.

Blossom takes us along the AT, showcasing gushing waterfalls, cruisy forest trails, and scenic mountaintops. Considering Blossom has only been on the trail a handful of days, she is finding the terrain quite challenging. She explains that she has yet to break in her “trail legs” and struggles with the ascents/descents. Though Blossom’s positive attitude and hopeful expectation keeps her energy high, stating that she knows she will get stronger once she gets past this “little threshold.”

After crushing her first two days on trails (and taking two minor falls), she decides to enjoy her first zero day. Sitting in the grass and soaking in the sun, Blossom feels rejuvenated for another day back on trail. Blossom’s beaming smile over the next few days  signals a beautiful start to her AT trek.

Make sure to watch Blossom’s future videos for her detailed AT thru-hike updates.
