Chaunce’s AT Vlog #07: Fontana Dam – Gatlinburg
The Appalachian Trail from Fontana Dam to Gatlinburg. We finally enter the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on a beautiful, sunny day and get to see the Smokies for the first time!
I give an update on my 15-degree quilt and clothing if you want to know how this chilly lady is faring with the low temperatures.
Speaking of low temperatures… We plan to hustle the next few days to avoid cold temps and snowfall.
We opted out of going into Gatlinburg to spend more time in the park and visit Clingmans Dome, the highest point on the Appalachian Trail at mile 200.
