“I completed the New Jersey section as a 15-year old in April 1973, and completed about 700 miles in the 70’s in various hikes. Outside of a 1986 trip to Shenendoah National Park, the remainder of my AT miles were completed between 2000-2014. My last section was about 220 miles from Rangeley to Katahdin.”

“The Comfort Crew has finished their NOBO thru hike on 10/19/18. A snowy summit day was insane! The wind chill was -1 degrees, half a foot of snow, and it was ferociously windy up on top. We couldn’t all get our pics on top together, but we have a really cool picture coming down.”

Congrats to all.
But what about the SOBO folks???
Hardly ever see them. Perhaps Trailblazer was one but not mentioned with pic.
Hey Albert,
Trailblazer is probably a sobo since he ended on Springer Mountain. We love to include all types of finish photos in these, but can only include those that are submitted and we’ve only had one non-traditional submission so far. It’s still early in the sobo season since they start and end after the nobos, so hopefully we’ll see a lot more!
Gummy Bear’s, Fozzie Bear’s, and Dread Pirates Robert’s photos are INSANE
It’s a tough climb in the best of weather conditions, but in the snow it must have been daunting! My congratulations to all of you!
