Congratulations to these 2022 Appalachian Trail Thru-Hikers: Part 11
Ah, the Appalachian Trail. One of America’s most iconic trails. The AT spans 2190 miles through fourteen states and along the crests and valleys of the Appalachian Mountain Range. The trail is typically started from the southern terminus at Springer Mountain, Georgia, and finishes at the northern terminus at Katahdin, Maine.
That’s right! Fourteen states. 2200 miles. Months and months on trail. Countless pots of ramen consumed.
Thru-hiking the AT is an incredible accomplishment that these hikers worked towards and have successfully completed. Blisters, multiple pairs of shoes, permadirt, and a distinct “hiker smell” has come to characterize their time on trail. They pushed through and overcame several challenges that the trail threw at them. Regardless of the how tough and challenging the trail was, they finished and were rewarded with the final photo atop of Katahdin.
Join us in celebrating the recent AT thru-hike finishers. Congratulations on your finish, y’all! This is a well deserved victory!
