Congratulations to these 2022 Appalachian Trail Thru-Hikers: Part 17

This is it. This is the moment. The moment these hikers have been working towards for months: The final steps of their Appalachian Trail thru-hike. 2,193 miles, 14 states, 515,000 feet of elevation gain, and a handful of months later, these hikers have officially completed their AT thru-hike.

Thru-hikers are a specific breed of human. It requires perseverance, resilience, and a deep appreciation for nature. These hikers trekked in the blistering hot sun and bone-chilling rain, overcame physical and mental discomforts, and continued to push towards their finish lines. This a victory that they can cling to for the rest of the their lives.
