Countdown

I start getting excited. Only 27 days left until my start on the AT. Today I tested the water filter, and it put a smile on my face. It worked, and I love it. I never thought I could love a water filter. I never thought a tiny little water filter could make me happy. But it did. After that I walked outside and tested the gas stove. It worked too. Hot water in the pot. Amazing. I bought new socks for the hike, my favorite brand. And an adaptor for the mobile, because american sockets are different. Life is good. Last night I even had my first dream about the trip. I can’t remember it exactly. But it’s showing me: the AT fever is getting higher. And now I write my first post for Appalachiantrials! I’m so happy being a part of the AT Class of 2016, thank you all for letting me join.
