Crossing to PA : Last One Wins

Barefoot is still here. And still moving. I’ve regrouped with part of my tramily as “Bags” has managed to catch up to me. He’d been away at a wedding but now the small tramily forms again. Miles are slow with the extreme heat, but have managed to make the most of this heat. I’ve visited the Washington Memorial,  had pizza delivered at PenMar, and crossed the Mason-Dixon Line into Pennsylvania. Thanks Maryland for the crash course in rock hopping.

Jeremy G is a military veteran and enthusiastic hiker. Starting in Hawaii, Jeremy began the Barefoot Hikers, a social group aimed at trail restoration, history and conservation while building friendships. With some 300 hike events over nine years, the group reached 17,000 Barefoot Hikers without injury or fatalities (very rare in Hawaii). In 2016, Jeremy transitioned into the civilian world with hopes of continuing his hobby as more of a lifestyle. He set out to cover two of the National Scenic Trails, AT and the FNST. Follow along with the OG Hawaii 'Barefoot Hiker' as he attempts the AT!
