Doctor Report — Good News

Today was my followup appointment regarding my knee pain.  After a little review of the MRI and another “touchy feely” examination, they think it may just be degenerative issues (I am Middle Aged you know) versus a torn meniscus.

This is GREAT news…for now!  They are going to go back and look at the MRI report again to validate, but hopefully that means NO SURGERY!

While I still have pain in the knee, I think I’ll be able to manage it during my preparation hikes and the AT Thru Hike.

So HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY 🙂

I would recommend you contact the American Long Distance Hiker Association AKA ALDHA ([email protected]) who write the yearly AT Companion. They might add you into the book. Also, look at WhiteBlaze.net forum. This could be good info for them since a LOT of AT Thru Hikers use this site.
