Emotional on the Appalachian Trail
What an emotional rollercoaster! Having to leave my family for an extended period of time was hard to say the least. I didn’t expect such strong emotions. One would say that this is an experience of a lifetime and it is for sure but what I don’t hear is how hard it is to do. I love my family and I love the trail so it’s a balance act. If you ever get the chance to do this amazing trail I would encourage you to do it however prepare yourself for that rollercoaster of emotions.
