First ten days

Hot and sunny to sleeting rain  overnight. Thunderstorms to cold clear 17 degrees and freezing our asses off. Hiking isn’t difficult, weather is difficult. Having a blast out here in the “wilderness” and starting to feel quite strong. Towns, cars, roads, buildings are all starting to feel a bit alien. Also starting to feel that hiker hunger…I think I might be starving a little bit.

Had a bit of trail magic today, the kind you couldn’t possibly expect and should never try to explain. Really loving this lifestyle, too bad it has to end in one season. The learning curve is steep out here…I hope I can keep up and not make any mistakes twice.
