Flip Flop Thru Hike: 1st Four Days

My first white blaze

Flip Flop Festivus

After an awesome Flip Flop Festival and taking in the charming Harper’s Ferry, it was a special Sunday morning send off for the hikers. It stated with a very yummy pancake breakfast, photos at the ATC and a history filled blue blaze to our first white blaze.

Oh sweet Maryland

Although Maryland only covers 40 miles on the AT, it was such a beautiful State to hike in, it reminded me of the Ozarks back home and a little teaser of what was to come in Pennsylvania.

Annapolis Rocks

So… PA here we come

Upon getting to Penn Mar after a soaking rain the previous day, Soulflower and I ran into Soggy, awesome trail angle, that offered us a ride into Waynesboro where we were able to dry our gear, do some laundry and recharge.

More to come between the logs and bogs. May sunshine flood your path.
