Hey Alicia, just wanted to comment on your backpack choices. I have the Arc Haul Zip. I love my Zpack! But I would get the Arc Haul or Arc Blast with the mesh on back if I could have a do over. I just had to have a zipper! But I don’t use it like that. The mesh seems more useful to me now. I also have the Enlightened Equipment Revelation 10 and love it! Just bought a Gossamer Gear The Two and am so excited about using it on the AT. Gear is overwhelming, good luck!
