Heading for Katahdin
Nevis and I start our cross-country drive tomorrow morning. The plan: Figure out which country Maine is in and hope they speak English there. Climb 5200 feet to Baxter Peak and the start of the Appalachian Trial. Turn to the south and put one boot in front of the other 4,400,000 times. Such a simple plan, what could possibly go wrong?
