Help The Hiker Yearbook Win a Small-Business Grant!
“I’ve seen a lot of books on the Appalachian Trail. Finally, somebody got it right. It’s about the people”
– Hiker Alumni, Class of ’75
Those who hike the Appalachian Trail share a lifelong bond. They have walked in each other’s footsteps and have faced the challenges and joys of 2,189 miles. Their passion for the outdoors is our passion as well. A project like this takes both passion and finance, and this year, the Hiker Yearbook is lucky enough to be competing in the FedEx small business grant competition for $25,000!
As a photographic record of Appalachian Trail thru and long-distance section hikers, the Hiker Yearbook is a treasured keepsake of what many hikers would describe as one of the most important experiences and accomplishments of their lives. The Hiker Yearbook uses the familiar format customary to any high school yearbook, while highlighting the inspiring and adventurous experiences of the Appalachian trail hikers. With the largest and most accurate directory of hikers and as the only accessible directory in print to date, readers return to their copy of the Hiker Yearbook time and again searching for their “tramily.”
