In the Rear with the Gear
Not for long. Mid-December is coming up fast and I have time for two more shakedown hikes. Consequently, I am upon the good-idea cutoff point for testing new gear.
Gear Lists
One of the great features I enjoy about The Trek website is the Thru-Hiker Gear List. This information inspired my confidence that quality equipment was available at a reasonable price.
Pay it Forward
I shall publish my working equipment list before I step off in mid-December, and further update the list as it evolves. Perhaps some item in my pack will resonate with someone else and make their hike better as a result.
