Nan Reisinger, aka Drag’n Fly completes AT at age 74
I just read that a 74 year old woman has completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail!! She is now the oldest woman on record to complete the entire trail. I would love to have that distinction, but I’ll be happy enough to finish it in one piece at age 68. (I’ll have to wait 7 more years to be the oldest. Who knows what shape I’ll be in then??) But it’s good to know that it CAN be done at this age! Here’s her story by BJ Small from The Sentinel:
