Road to the Appalachian Trail: Arches National Park

On the Move

Hi guys! I’m currently traveling and hiking a lot. I am trying to share my journey to the best of my ability, but it’s surprisingly hard when you’re on the road.

I don’t share each and every hike, because holy moly, that would be A LOT! The Appalachian Trail is still a top priority, and we are 100% headed to Maine in June, but here is a current adventure.

Delicate Arch

Arches National Park is pretty sick! We hiked a very short and quick three miles to Delicate Arch. It was packed, but beautiful!  We spent some time scrambling around and enjoying the scenery.

We plan to get up super early and hike a seven-mile loop to see more arches in the morning. National parks are amazing, but they’re a little tough when you’re traveling with a dog. Niki will be cooler in the van and way less anxious early in the morning. There will be less noise and people for her to bark at. We want to hike and finish the Devils Garden trail in two hours tomorrow. We will be able to see six arches if everything goes as planned!

Have fun, be safe, and leave no trace! Happy trails!
