Rutland Double Zero (Day 129 & 130)
We woke up in Small Bites’ Grandma’s house. By now she feels just as much as our own grandma, but we usually just call her by her name: Judy. There’s no time to sleep in though, because we’re going live on the radio!
Small Bites’ great uncle Terry runs a local radio show and wanted to interview us on our experiences on the trail! It’s my first time on radio, which has been such a cool experience.
After this, we had some chill time and went to the music shop. Dreamcatcher was craving to play some bass and also bought a ukulele for on trail!
At the end of the day we went to dinner with everybody including Judy, Terry and his wife.
The next morning Judy brought us to an authentic Vermont pancake restaurant. The tourist in me has been very excited! It’s cool to see some true Vermont.
The rest of the day we went to the local Rutland farmers market and the library to do some blogging for y’all! After the resupply we watched a movie and went to bed. Back to trail tomorrow!
