Sunshine & Struggles

So many times I poured over social media and YouTube to watch other hikes and it seems that it’s always sunshine and rainbows! After almost 400 miles I will tell you it’s a combination of both the sunshine days and the days of struggle. I struggle up those mountains in the driving cold wind with temps hanging in the near freezing digits. The views though then I can enjoy those cold yet sunny days knowing that the view is worth the hike! All the days may not be perfect and you will have days of “suck” but in the end it’s all worth it to me. Reality is life is a lot like hiking you never know what’s over or around that next turn. Keep hiking!! Enjoy the views! Rest and Relax.
