Taking a new Trail Name a little too far!

image

Mountain Goat has taken his new name SERIOUSLY!!

image

Rose has her Eyes set on Mountain Goat!

As soon as Rose set her eyes on Mountain Goat, she knew it was love at first sight…….but she wouldn’t take NO for an answer and convinced Mountain Goat to come closer.

image

Rose played hard to get at first, but Mountain Goat persevered.

image

Mountain Goat changed strategy and with chocolate and strawberries, had Rose eating out of the palm of his hand!

He had to convince Rose that Mountain Goat was simply an A.T. Trail name and that he was really a human with a wonderful, loving wife Mary at home.

image

Rose finally believed him, but wanted a goodbye kiss to remember him by.    “BAHHHHHD” she said after the smooch and let Mountain Goat go…….

Nothing to worry about, wife Mary!! Mountain Goat says it was a meaningless fling that meant nothing to him…..HONEST;). His human DNA has taken back over and he’s back to normal (sorry about that;))

Hysterical, I Cant wait to see what you come up with next. You are well in the lead of the several thru hikers I am following. There were a couple ahead of you that started in January and early February but I haven’t seen any post’s from them in several week so they may have dropped out. Keep on hiking and entertaining the masses.

      Thanks Lynn,

Getting a signal is sometimes spotty, but we’ll be in Asheville tomorrow with the college buddy who got us to go on that bike & barge trip in the Netherlands!
