This is My Pack, There Are Many Like it But This One is Mine

The Gear of All Gears

So back in December I recived an email, I didn’t realize this email would change my entire hike…

I remeber filling out the 2016 Thru Hike Syndicate Application back in October. While filling it out I didn’t think I’d be one of the 28 chosen but I thought “what the hell why not give it a try.” Well that try worked and I recived sponsors from 5 companies Vasque Footwear, Osprey Packs, Nemo Equipment, Leki, and Darn Tough Socks.

So after receiving all my gear in the mail and traveling to Florida, I present you my gear list! Pick at it all you want…

Note: all this gear is my base weight not including fuel, water, food, and cloths I’m wearing. This gear set up works for me, It won’t work for everyone. Hike your own muthafuckin’ hike!

Everything on the Tarp is included in the gear list. Minus the Tarp.

Hey – great gear list! I’m just about finished purchasing my gear (I start the AT early April) but had a few questions about your portable charger:

How long have you had your Anker 22,000 Charger?
Has it held a charge well?
    Pros / Cons?
What made you choose this brand?

      Hi Angie.
This charger is the best I’ve had, they are incredibly cheap on Amazon.
Pros: two USB ports. Charges my 6 plus up to 8 times before in needs to be plugged in. Has a built in flashlight. Cons: kinda heavy. To charge it takes a while maybe 12 hours once it’s fully dead but that’s takes a while.
I chose this because I heard extremely good reviews about it. And it works wonders.

What Anker charger is that? I can’t seem find it on amazon, and 11oz for 22,000mah sounds to good to be true considering the 20100mah battery is 13oz
