This Week’s Top Instagram Posts from the #AppalachianTrail

The past 12 months have been challenging to say the least, especially for those who opt outside for their recreation. But with people finally able to release themselves from their screens and spend time doing the things they love instead of having some serious FOMO, we decided a compilation of the top posts of this week would help both cease the endless scrolling and keep you up with the trail beat.

This week’s featured posts from the AT bring us everything from SOBO starts at Mount Katahdin, a 79-year-old hiker on trail for his second 2,200-mile journey, and a family about to begin their first. Be sure to use our hashtags #theTrek and #trektheAT or tag us @thetrek.co and @appalachian.trail for a chance to be featured on our pages or in our next featured roundup.

I have been following Hannah Goodman since she first posted. By good fortune we met on the trail hust south of Rockfish Gap in Va. I was on a gear shakedown sobo. Saw her again the day at Stanimals in Waynesboro. I will follow her until she summits Katahdin. I read most of the other posts just to see what condition are on the trail(s).

Hmm. Can’t see any of the posts even though I am logged on IG in another tab.
