Trail Days 2023!!!

Trail Days. What can I say?! It was an experience 😊 This was my first time to be a part of the festivities. I didn’t think I’d be able to go, then “Trail Magic” happened, and I got there on Friday and left Sunday. So many wonderful friends to see: those that I hiked with early on then you lose touch with different schedules or hiking paces. Friends that own some awesome companies like Appalachian Gear Company, Zpacks, Hyperlite, and purple rain adventure skirts to name a few that are there to service the Hiking community to help us go further with fixed gear or upgrades to our previous gear. Authors like Nancy East, Christine Reed, Heather Anderson, and Jennifer Pharr Davis who are women writers with powerful stories that support the outdoor industry. The food was good, some better than others, like “county fair.” Depending on where you were, the atmosphere was informative, diverse and electrifying. The hiker parade is an all-time favorite with past thru-hikers from 40 years ago to present. I was pleasantly impressed to see so many smiling faces and happy people making memories.
