Week 2 On The Trail

Week 2 Update..

Sorry this took so long, cell phone reception had been terrible lately. I am at Fontana Dam, a town of 17 citizens and a full time waitress is the Mayor.. this is not a joke. But after a good night sleep and making eggs and potatoes. I am sharing a cabin with 7 strangers, all hikers, and I am ready to take on the Smokies today.
This past week I got out of Georgia and on to North Carolina. I am currently uat mile 167 on the trail. The weather has been fantastic, Slightly cloudy with temps in the 60s and 40s at night. It rained one night, but not terrible. One night I stayed at Cold Spring Shelter, got  to camp on the mountain ridge with an amazing view.  I wish I could have been more day to day, but so much has happened it is hard to keep track.
I started rereading Harry Potter. I forgot how much I love these books. It has been keeping me up much longer than I expected at night, but there is nothing like a good book at the end of a long day.
The days have been getting easier and longer. I am averaging 15 miles a day, and my legs are still sore every day, but I am faster and lasting longer between breaks.
Time to go restock, Talk to you guys later
