This is Seth Rogan (trail name). He can typically be found in your local towns along trail making locals feel uncomfortable and or making a frozen pizza in a frying pan in the woods. Either way the day will instantly be a bit more jolly upon encounter. Not pictured is the blow up doll in his pack that he never blows up. More of a conversation piece. one can only hope he takes his summit photo with it. This same man is also a flight instructor and professional pilot. #emergencyflotationdevice
The best campsites are the ones involving yoga and ponds. And yes, it's the middle of August and I'm wearing my puffy jacket and a hat (📸photograph courtesy of @sweetmonkeysobo17 ) . . . #chilly #pond #yoga #mudra #newhampshire #lilypad #trektheat #appalachiantrail #arcteryx #mammut #patagonia #newhampshireoutdoors #nofilter #kinsman #mountainbabes
Day 147, August 10, mi 1737.8: Vermont has been full of evergreens and maple trees. Lines to collect sap are strung up on maple trees. We spent the night at Linda's house. She keeps a mini fridge stocked with sodas on the porch and allows hikers to tent in the backyard. It's nice to camp out at people's houses because the pizza guy knows how to get there. #at2017 #trektheat #thruhike #appalachiantrail
Day 1 of the Art Loeb. Started foggy but boy did God bless us with a beautiful weekend!!! . . . Rocked the @trailandtails hands-free leash this weekend and it made life so easy. I had hands to catch myself with every fall😂 get an extra 10% off your purchase with the promo "Ziggy10" . . . 📸: @rad_rant

Caught another sunrise this morning on Greylock. AT mile 1586. Hard to believe we can see New Hampshire from up here. Days are long and all of my hiker food is tasteless but it's hard to be unhappy ever back in this beautiful terrain. #atthruhike #atthruhike2017 #greylock #appalachiantrail #goeast #trektheat #massachusetts #backinnewengland #sunrise #mountainsunrise #emotion
I took a lot of pictures this weekend. A lot of pictures of Winnie, a lot of pictures of wild ponies, and a lot of pictures of Winnie AND wild ponies. This one I am absolutely obsessed with. . . Winnie and I both needed this weekend in the worst way. We hadn't been backpacking or even out of our area since completing our NPT thru hike in the Adirondacks. The second she saw me grab her @mountainsmith pack on Friday she went absolutely ballistic. To say a few days in the mountains were overdue would be an understatement. And chasing white blazes again was only an added bonus. ❤
