Each week, we peruse all of the wonderful pictures from Instagram using the hashtag #TrektheAT and #AppalachianTrail and select a few of the best to highlight for your viewing pleasure!

Vermont was one of our favorite states and these pine trees were a big part of that. The pics really do nothing to convey how awesome the Roan Highlands are. Walked with some nice ultrarunners who tried to convert me on their day off, waded through hordes of day hikers, and spent the night at the highest shelter on the AT at 6k feet. The shelter mouse even went away when I told him to.
