Ladies, gentlemen, and hiker trash- it has returned.  We are pleased to reintroduce one of our all time favorite series- the top Instagram posts from the Appalachian Trail.

Each week, we peruse all of the wonderful pictures from Instagram using the hashtag #TrektheAT and #AppalachianTrail and select a few of the best to highlight for your viewing pleasure!

Day 134 – 1811.3: Well we are officially in the Whites! And the climbs have definitely increased. We have been scrabbling up and down rocks all day and just loving it. It really feels like you are climbing mountains! And the views… let me tell you! We couldn’t have had better weather these past few days. With all these blue skies you are able to see for miles! From atop Kinsman (the location of this photo) there were amazing views of Franconia Ridge – tomorrow’s challenge! #walkwithus

After over 30 miles today I’m glad to have found such a beautiful campsite. Maybe ill see some fireworks. I saw 4 bears this evening to bring the total bear count to 10. Tomorrow I will finally be out of Rocky Pennsylvania and into New Jersey. Happy Independence Day!
