Card of the day – Knight of Pentacles
Today we go so Salem for beer and burgers! The shuttle is due at 11am and I for one can’t wait.
We made it out by 8am and only had a few miles to the trail head.
“Beers burgers and bums! The real triple crown – wolverine”. I’ll just leave that there.
We got to the trail head and there was Trail magic Pizza! Ed and Movin Moo! (2018) had a fab set up with soft drinks and a pizza oven where they treated each of us to a pepperoni pizza.
We got to the Hotel in Salem. Did laundry and it the Mexican and then the brewery for a few beers! Oh it’s a hard life.
The next day none of us were feeling it so we opted to zero in town. I replaced my Kilt with some shorts and sent my cold gear north. Fingers crossed that pays off.
More town food, more beers and Independence Day on the TV.
