Hey, I'm Nick or "Boomerang!" I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail in 2023 during a very uncertain time in my life. I found a lot of clarity and solace in that experience, but it ended too soon. I knew I'd have to get back out there. After an unexpected layoff earlier this year, I decided to make lemonade - I had to seize the chance to hike the PCT. I'm thru-hiking to deepen my relationship with nature, to reconnect with the deeper parts of myself, and to find a better path forward after the trail. Hopefully I'll write something interesting, too!
