I am a 2nd grade teacher that decided to hike the AT to raise money to build an amazing school for the kids in Haiti! I took my love for hiking and my desire to see everyone get a chance at an education and wrapped them up in a package. Four of us will make this journey in May 2015 and we can't wait! I am imagining the "Lord of the Rings" journey....but it may end up being more like "Without a Paddle." Either way, I am up for the adventure. Anybody that knows me never knows what I might do next. Is that a good thing? (I think so!)
