Hey there! I'm Carlijn (Yogurt on the trails). In 2024, I decided to quit pursuing a soul-crushing career and hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Even though I've traveled and adventured all over the world, I had NEVER done anything like this. Never camped, never even slept in a tent before. Somehow I figured it all out and fell in love with thru-hiking. Since then, I've done some smaller trails closer to home (I'm from the Netherlands), including the Peaks of the Balkans and most recently the West Highland Way in Scotland. This summer I'll be hiking the Colorado Trail and I could not be more excited! I'd love for you to follow along here and on YouTube (@carlijndriessen), where I'll be sharing more of my travels through the US, New Zealand and Australia in the next year.
