Hey everyone, my name is Caroline - I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2024 and earned the trail name Roly Poly after rolling down a mountain in North Carolina. I unfortunately solidified this trail name with many future falls along the rest of the trail - but I am planning to change that during my thru hike of the Colorado Trail this year (I do not plan on falling once, new trail name pending). I have always loved the outdoors, but it wasn’t until hiking the AT that I discovered my love for truly losing myself in the mountains (for weeks/months at a time). I am excited to feed my mountain obsession with my Colorado Trail thru hike this year! When I am not thru hiking, I live in Colorado and work as a registered dietitian. Currently, my favorite things are trail running, ice cream, and blueberries.
