Carry-On Outdoors

I am Carey, also known as Carry-On from my 2012 Appalachian Trail thru-hike. I live in southern Utah in an RV with my dog and two cats, work at an outdoor store, and spend my time blogging, taking pictures, obsessing over gear, backpacking locally, and section hiking the Arizona Trail. In the future I'm considering more thru-hikes, with New Zealand, the Grand Enchantment Trail, the PCT, and CDT on the short list.

The AZT is not the AT

After thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2012, I thought I knew what I was doing, but the Arizona Trail showed me how wrong I was. I have a lot to learn.
