Chloë de Camara

Hi there! The name's Chloë. Born in Chicago, but claim western North Carolina as my home. I caught the A.T. "bug" while writing my thesis for the Religious Studies department of UNC-Asheville--I argued that thru-hiking the A.T. could be seen as a new form of religion. I started volunteering with the ATC shortly after I received my diploma and have never looked back. I completed my A.T. thru-hike on August 13th, 2015, and am forever changed. Starting mid-February I'll be back on the Trail as a short-term (18 weeks) ridge runner in the Smokies. Then I'll transition into the role of camp coordinator, working with volunteers coming out for S.W.E.A.T. and Rocky Top trail crews!
