I’ve spent years reading the stories of thru-hikers on The Trek, and in 2026 it’s finally my turn to attempt the PCT. It feels a bit crazy. I’m starting all the way from the Netherlands, one of the flattest countries in the world, but I’m completely hooked on the mountains. Every year, I pay them a visit. I love being outside, no matter the terrain, and for more than five months that’s exactly where I’ll be. I’m incredibly excited to see where this trail takes me. Follow along as I try to capture the experience.
