Hey, I'm Erika, AKA Ghost Rider I'm a NOBO turned SOBO Appalachian Trail thru-hiker from Nova Scotia, Canada. You’ll probably find me crying on the side of a mountain somewhere on the AT this summer. I started overnight hiking trips with my sister just a few years ago and became a little obsessed with the idea of the Appalachian Trail. I decided to chase the dream after finishing my Master of Arts in English literature, because apparently I like doing hard things. Aside from hiking I love books (currently on the romantasy/fantasy train), beach days, and dog cuddles. I'm hiking the trail solo while my sweet husband holds down the fort at home with our two dogs and cat. I'm a certified scaredy-cat with serious anxiety, but I'm facing my fears to embrace my adventurous side!
