Hello, i am Aquaman, a munro bagger, adventurer, food fanatic, PCT class of 2022 completionism, hailing from sunny Scotland. This year I'm heading out on a new trail, one which has never been completed as a full thru-hike, the North Sea Trail. The NST is a 3500 mile circumnavigation of the inner coast of the North sea, taking in Scotland, England, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, before arriving home in Scotland. While it is called the NST, I'm calling it the 'Scenic route home' as i start from my front door, and finish at my front door. I originally started the PCT as a personal quest after recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, to show that completing challenges outside your comfort zone is totally possible despite physical setbacks. From my PCT experience.... i am now IN LOVE with being on trail. Finally, i am an ambassador for 'Responsible Stewardship' for outdoor spaces, and more importantly for us... the trail. I will advocate for this through my writing and through my own personal hike, in the hope that it inspires others.
