Thru-hiking the AT has been my dream since joining a backpacking club when I was in my early teens. Plans to hike in 2020 were crushed by COVID. Currently planning 2021, but had to have a hip replacement in December, and training to get my miles back up. After surviving 2 nearly deadly accidents, I am lucky and grateful to have the opportunity and physical ability to attempt this adventure.
