Hi there! I'm Haven — a professional goofball, connoisseur of Nerds Gummy Clusters, and aspiring northbound AT ’25 thru-hiker! I tend to be a little frenetic about books, the woods, snails, and hope. Having grown up in the shadow of Mount Katahdin, it is no wonder that after a childhood of picking out her proud spine on every car ride to the "big city" of Bangor, I would feel an immense sense of longing for the woods and waters that gently carved themselves into my soul. For the last few years, I have traced the smile lines of New England's highest peaks with wandering feet and a grateful heart, biding my time until I could breathe life into my greatest dream — taking a very (very) long walk home. Thanks for being here!
