My name is Indra and I am hiking the Pacific crest trail this year. I hiked the PCT in 2016, Georgia to Damascus on the Appalachian trail In 2018, Damascus to Harper’s ferry AT in 2019, Harper’s ferry to Delaware water Gap AT in 2021, Delaware water Gap to Glenclif NH AT in 2022 and have also thru hiked the Arizona trail in 2021. My trail name is Trash Panda… because I like snacks… I am a professional Vegetarian chef and also a yoga teacher and have been practicing meditation practices for the last 30 years. I find the long distance hiking has some of the same experiences of mediation. I live in a small community in the cascade mountains of Oregon with my partner and have lived on this land for about 14 years in total. We recently moved back here after a devastating wild fire in 2020. Hiking the pct is a healing journey.
