In 2016, my solo thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail brought me more strength and confidence than I knew were possible. So in 2018, I wanted to empower more young women to embark on their own personal transformation journeys. That’s why I hiked 2,300 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail to fundraise for three women-run organizations that teach girls self-respect, bravery and camaraderie in the outdoors.
